Cooking can be like a therapy session. For me, there is no better place to lose myself than in the kitchen.
Tonight's therapy session? A trusty bowl of ramen.
Ginger & onion (for broth*) + eggs/whatever soup-friendly protein you can find (ie, tofu) + whatever soup-friendly veggies you can dig up (carrots, green onion, mushrooms, spinach) + whatever broth flavorings you have on hand (soy sauce, fish sauce, etc.) + any packet of ramen...
Nothing quiets the soul quite like a good bowl of noodle soup.
*My favorite broth experiment so far has been ginger, garlic, black pepper, onion, soy sauce, a little patis, and lemon. Go ahead, try it.
